The LATYMER plant has once again confirmed the EOTA certificate after an audit, which has been conducted at the enterprise annually since 2019 and covers all processes. Representatives of the EOTA (European Organization for Technical Assessment in the field of building products) checked compliance with European product quality standards, personnel qualifications, laboratory, facade mesh production process and quality control. Much attention was paid to the analysis of the process of selecting a supplier of primary raw materials for production, controlling the logistics process and shipping LATYMER products to customers’ warehouses.
According to the audit results, LATYMER plant has been receiving a very high rating for the fifth year in a row and confirms its compliance with the European Technical Assessment ETA and the FPS certificate, which gives the right to label its products with the CE mark and sell them to the European Union. This certificate serves to protect the European market and consumers from low-quality fiberglass mesh for plaster, because without such a certificate, the facade mesh will not be used on any object. The actual service life of a certified mesh under normal operating conditions can be much longer than 20 years.
