We gain new knowledge – we improve the quality of fiberglass mesh! The management team of the “Trade House “LATYMER” LTD has completed a two-day training as part of the implementation of the new edition of the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System.

The practical seminar was held after the submission of the corresponding application to the State Enterprise “Ukrmetrteststandart” in order to transfer the Quality Management System of the “Trade House “LATYMER” LTD from the Standard ISO 9001:2008 to its new edition and receive the certificate of the new pattern.

According to the lecturer, consultant on issues of modern management, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, QMS Auditor (IRCA) Boris Ryabchikov, the new edition of ISO 9001 was the result of three years of work of specialists from 90 countries of the world. The adherence to this standard is respected by Europeans, which indicates the presence of a clear organizational structure and system of enterprise operation. The main principle of ISO 9001:2015 is the orientation towards a customer and a consumer. Therefore, the basis for quality planning, quality assurance, quality management and quality improvement of reinforcing fiberglass mesh is the understanding of the needs and expectations of interested parties.

It is the interests of the customer that became the starting point in the creation of fundamental documents of the company – the participants of the seminar prescribed the “Policy in the field of quality” and “Quality manual” of TH “LATYMER”.

Special attention was paid to the internal audit of the quality management system. The management team was able to finalize and agree on the procedure for internal audits, to determine the algorithm of reports and corrective actions.

As the LATYMER production director Igor Osadchenko said, the company is working to expand the system of auditors. In particular, an additional control is introduced for the glass fibre mesh production process, which will eliminate all possible inconsistencies.
