Halten Stark Impregnation Technology: LATYMER Improves Product Quality
LATYMER uses the German Halten Stark (“be strong”) impregnation technology for maximum tensile strength of mesh.
Under the influence of high temperatures, the fiberglass mesh is impregnated with a polymer dispersion with a high adhesive property. The individually designed polymer composition includes special substances – plasticizers, which increase the elasticity of the glass fibre mesh.
The polymers form an invisible “Shield” film on the fabric with excellent alkali and water resistance. Thus, thanks to the Halten Stark impregnation technology, LATYMER fiberglass mesh:
- meets the highest European standards for tensile strength and elongation (EAD, ETAG004),
